The Provincial Government of Santa Cruz is seeking international investors interested in the mining industry with the aim of boosting sector development, promoting job creation, and revitalizing regional economies. This approach is evident in the meeting held between Jaime Álvarez, Minister of Energy and Mining, and Oscar Vera, President of FOMICRUZ S.E., called by the Indian Ambassador to Argentina, Dinesh Batia, along with representatives from the Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies and officials from the mining sectors of India and Argentina.

The importance of establishing business relationships with foreign investors to promote sector growth was emphasized, highlighting Santa Cruz's adherence to the Incentive Regime for Large Investments and the opportunities it offers.

It was agreed to strengthen the interaction between Santa Cruz and India, committing to provide detailed information on the mining rights of FOMICRUZ S.E., including prospecting activities, exploration, surface sampling with diamond drilling, magnetometry, as well as details on gold and silver reserves in the Deseado Massif region.
